After a drunken hookup my freshman year of college (ok...I mean drunken sexual assault) I was approached by a friend asking if I wanted to press charges, because a girl who was with him the following weekend is. I said no, heart racing, I was blackout, I don’t even know where I’d start.

I still think about this brave girl that had the courage to came forward. Last week, 10 years later, I just started going to therapy to talk about it. I wish I could tell that girl how sorry I am I wasn’t there for her when she needed me most.
