I was in high school when students lost their lives in Columbine.

    solidarity stories columbine students

I was in high school when students lost their lives in Columbine. I'm 37 now. I teach pre-k and am flabbergasted that all we've done is make kids hide in the shadows of their classrooms to save their own Lives.

I'm paralyzed with fear and sadness, but here I go, to teach my class about kindness, because it's all I can think to do today.
