It's been 8 months since I cut contact with my abusive parents. My grandma invited me to go to an event with the whole family in June, my parents included. I don't want to miss family events, but I can't see my abusers. I want to talk to my therapist about what I should do, but I can't afford to see them anymore since I lost my health insurance last month. I feel like I'm trying to navigate my trauma alone.
