I've been going out on dates with a guy I really like but I have no idea if he feels the same way about me. I'm too afraid to ask because I don't want to ruin whatever it is we're doing. So many people tell me I should just go for it but they don't understand that no one has wanted to date me in five years. Before this experience, I didn't realize that men could be kind, respectful and approach women without expectations. So of course I'm afraid to ruin it by involving my feelings. If he doesn't feel the same way, I'm not sure I will find another person who makes me believe in dating again. - Human
