My depression, anxiety, and drinking have never been worse.
After 10 years of graduate school, I finally finished my Ph.D. in April and became a doctor. I thought this achievement would 'fix' everything and make the stressful work and sacrifices worth it.
Instead, I'm a 31 year-old female, not married, childless, living with my younger sister, and severely in-debt due to school loans. My depression, anxiety, and drinking have never been worse.
