she looked toward the kind gentleman who motioned down to the floor...then in the clicking camera gesture. a man sitting on the floor of the train behind her, was taking pictures on his phone...up her once favorite dress, moving his phone as she looked down at him and stepped off at the next stop.
when she was approached by the cops that someone hailed for her...she was too scared to "ruin his life".
filled with tears, shame at feeling like an object of a man and the anger she wasn't strong enough to report it before the man disappeared.
she could have saved another future woman. she could have stood up for herself.
i will never make that mistake again. she's not that girl anymore.
